Chef de Partie – Café Kira (Dubai)

About the role

Café Kira, a casual everyday version of KIRA, is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join the culinary team for the opening of its new concept in Jumeirah, Dubai. The role involves independently managing a kitchen section, maintaining high culinary standards, and supporting the pre‑opening phase.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the assigned kitchen section, ensuring efficient preparation and smooth service.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, presentation, and portion control.
• Organise and supervise daily mise en place and ensure readiness for service.
• Train and guide junior chefs, fostering teamwork and operational efficiency.
• Follow standardized recipes, SOPs, and HACCP regulations while monitoring stock levels and minimizing waste.
• Support senior culinary team during pre‑opening, including kitchen setup and recipe implementation.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a premium, high‑volume restaurant or luxury hospitality environment.
• Proven ability to manage a kitchen section independently and supervise junior staff.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety, inventory control and kitchen organization.
• Excellent time‑management, communication and problem‑solving skills, with a hands‑on approach.
• Pre‑opening experience is an advantage.
