About the role

The DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah is looking for a Chef de Partie. The role combines preparing high-quality dishes with supervising the kitchen team so that every guest receives a memorable stay.

Key responsibilities

• Season, cook and test dishes according to standard recipes, keeping taste and presentation consistent.
• Oversee line cooks and step in for senior chefs when they are absent to keep operations smooth and efficient.
• Keep work areas clean, tidy and free of cross-contamination.
• Monitor ingredient quality, storage and stock rotation.
• Help control food costs, improve gross profit margins and meet departmental financial targets.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma in Culinary Arts, Professional Cookery or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a hotel, resort or high-volume food production environment.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Ability to supervise a kitchen section and to train and support junior team members.
• Flexibility to work various shifts in a multicultural team.
