Chef de Partie – French Brasserie

About the role

We are looking for a talented Chef de Partie to join the culinary team at Couqley, an award‑winning French brasserie in Downtown Dubai. The successful candidate will manage a specific kitchen section, uphold the highest standards of food quality and presentation, and contribute to a vibrant, fast‑paced dining environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and operate a designated kitchen section, ensuring efficiency and consistent quality.
• Train and supervise junior kitchen staff within the section.
• Oversee proper food storage, handling, and rotation to maintain freshness and minimise waste.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other sections to ensure smooth service.
• Adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks in a high‑pressure environment.

Required profile

• Culinary degree or equivalent professional kitchen experience.
• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high‑end à la carte restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of French cooking methods, ingredients and kitchen equipment.
• Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure setting.
