About the role
The Chef de Partie will prepare special meals, ensure food quality, and support the kitchen team in a busy hotel environment. This full‑time position is based at the Mall of the Emirates in Dubai.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards.
- Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters.
- Pull frozen items to thaw, maintain food logs and monitor portioning and garnish.
- Communicate assistance needs during peak periods and inform staff of menu specials or out‑of‑stock items.
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling and employee coaching.
- Follow safety, security and hygiene policies, reporting any incidents or maintenance needs.
Required profile
- Technical, trade or vocational culinary education.
- Minimum three years of relevant kitchen experience.
- No prior supervisory experience required.
Required skills
- Food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Temperature control of kitchen equipment.
- Adherence to recipes, quality and presentation standards.
