Chemistry Teacher – Full‑time

About the role

The International School of Choueifat in Abu Dhabi is seeking a dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join its academic team. This full‑time position involves delivering the SABIS® curriculum, supporting student progress, and contributing to a safe, high‑performing learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and follow up on chemistry lessons, ensuring alignment with the SABIS® curriculum and point system.
• Collaborate with Student Life and Student Management teams to monitor and support academic progress of all students.
• Provide accurate and timely reports to the Academic Quality Controller as required by SABIS® and local authorities.
• Maintain a minimum of 30 student contact hours per week, including possible homeroom duties.
• Oversee student safety and uphold the professional SABIS® image within the school.
• Perform additional duties such as exam proctoring, recess or lunch supervision, and attend required school functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (Master’s preferred or required to meet local regulations).
• Leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Goal‑oriented mindset with effective planning and execution capabilities.
• Problem‑solving aptitude and dependable work ethic.
