Chief Time Keeper

About the role

Eden Gardens LLC is looking for a Chief Time Keeper in Abu Dhabi to oversee accurate timekeeping and attendance records for its workforce. The role supports dependable payroll inputs and a consistent application of attendance procedures across the organization. It is a full-time position based in Abu Dhabi and is not remote.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily timekeeping activities and maintain accurate records of employee hours, attendance, overtime, leave and schedule changes.
• Review time entries for completeness and resolve discrepancies with employees, supervisors and relevant departments.
• Coordinate with payroll and human resources to submit verified time and attendance data on schedule.
• Monitor timekeeping procedures and ensure records are handled confidentially and consistently with company policies.
• Prepare attendance summaries and reports, identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements.
• Support supervisors with guidance on time recording practices and escalation of exceptions.

Required profile

• Strong working knowledge of employee timekeeping, attendance tracking, shift schedules, overtime and leave records.
• Accuracy in reviewing, reconciling and maintaining high-volume time and attendance data.
• Clear written and verbal communication for resolving attendance exceptions with employees and supervisors.
• Confidential handling of personnel records and sound judgment with sensitive information.
• Excellent organization, prioritization and follow-through in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to prepare routine reports, spot inconsistencies and recommend practical improvements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheets and common office software.
• Ability to learn timekeeping and payroll systems.
• Understanding of payroll cutoff schedules, data validation and timely, reliable submissions.
