Civil Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to join our Dubai team. The role involves supporting the execution and delivery of civil works on construction and development projects, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, quality standards and UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Review civil and structural drawings, specifications, shop drawings and related technical documentation.
• Monitor on‑site civil construction activities to ensure adherence to approved drawings, method statements and project requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality, material compliance and progress.
• Coordinate civil works with architectural, structural, MEP and other disciplines.
• Review contractor submissions such as method statements, material data, RFIs and shop drawings.
• Identify technical or quality issues and drive corrective actions with consultants and contractors.
• Monitor concrete works, masonry, waterproofing and finishing interfaces.
• Support inspections, testing and approvals of civil works and construction materials.
• Track progress against construction programmes and report potential delays.
• Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations and authority requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5–7 years of civil engineering experience on construction projects in the UAE.
• Proven ability to work on site, manage technical documentation and liaise with consultants, contractors and suppliers.
