Civil Fit-Out Supervisor

About the role

The Civil Fit-Out Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily civil modification and renovation activities on construction sites. This role ensures that all works are carried out in line with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards while maintaining a safe working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise civil fit‑out tasks such as gypsum, veneer, glass partitions, screeding, flooring, tiling, waterproofing, painting, and ceiling works.
• Review approved drawings, specifications, and method statements before work commences.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, subcontractors, MEP teams, and other site personnel.
• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and progress to meet schedule targets.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, risk assessments, and quality documentation (MSF, MIR, WIR).
• Inspect completed works, identify defects, and manage rectifications.
• Maintain daily progress reports and communicate updates to project management.
• Support quantity measurements, material inspections, and preparation of work‑related documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in civil modification, renovation, fit‑out, or maintenance projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and drawing interpretation.
• Proven ability to manage manpower and subcontractors.
• Good understanding of HSE and quality requirements.
• Effective communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
