Civil Helper

About the role

The Civil Helper will support airport civil works at Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, ensuring safety compliance and assisting with routine maintenance tasks. The role requires physical stamina, attention to safety procedures, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret basic documents, safety rules and correspondence related to airport operations.
• Wear required protective equipment at all times, including long‑sleeve shirts, respiratory masks and oxygen helmets when painting.
• Lift, push and move loads up to 100 pounds while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Report material issues and safety observations to the supervisor promptly.
• Participate in standby assignments, off‑hours work and emergency overtime as required.
• Comply with all safety procedures outlined in the Aerodrome Operations Manual and Safety Management System.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of experience in a similar civil or labour role.
• Ability to work in hot conditions, without allergies or breathing problems, and to wear respiratory protection continuously.
• Team‑oriented attitude with willingness to perform overtime and work in a climate‑controlled environment.
