About the role
Bureau Veritas is hiring a Civil Inspector in Dubai. The role covers civil engineering inspection work based on international codes and standards, project specifications and procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Review Inspection Test Plans, Quality Plans and procedures
- Review and validate inspection assignment documentation, including technical aspects, references, schedules, milestones, reporting, logistics and coordination
- Define the scope of Bureau Veritas interventions and select the most appropriate inspection techniques
- Carry out inspections according to the Quality Plan and established procedures
- Prepare inspection reports, including handling non-conformities and other deliverables
- Ensure inspection quality according to the Bureau Veritas Quality System and interpret inspection results
Required profile
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering
- Strong knowledge of international codes and standards
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the same field as a civil inspector
