Cloud and Infrastructure Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud & Infrastructure Manager to lead the cloud and enterprise infrastructure function for a leading organisation in the UAE. This senior leadership role will drive cloud transformation, manage hybrid environments, and ensure the technology landscape remains secure, resilient, scalable and cost‑effective.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise a hybrid cloud environment across Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Lead cloud migration initiatives, moving on‑premise workloads to cloud platforms with minimal disruption.
• Administer Azure services such as Virtual Machines, SQL Database, Kubernetes Service (AKS), Active Directory, Monitor, Blob Storage, ExpressRoute and DevOps.
• Develop and execute cloud cost‑optimisation strategies while maintaining performance.
• Oversee enterprise infrastructure – servers, storage, networking, virtualisation platforms and data‑centre operations – ensuring high availability and security.
• Implement disaster recovery and business continuity solutions using cloud‑native technologies.
• Establish cloud security controls, identity and access management, encryption and governance frameworks.
• Design Infrastructure‑as‑Code solutions with Terraform, ARM/Bicep or similar tools.
• Lead, mentor and develop the Cloud & Infrastructure team and collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors and cloud providers.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in cloud and infrastructure management.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Track record of delivering large‑scale cloud migrations and cost‑optimisation programmes.
• Deep understanding of security, compliance and governance in hybrid environments.
