Cluster Assistant Director of Sales

About the role

As the Cluster Assistant Director of Sales you will drive revenue growth and market presence for a leading hotel brand. Working closely with the Commercial Team you will lead strategic sales initiatives, develop key accounts and support a high‑performing sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing the hotel’s sales strategy to meet revenue and profitability targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across corporate, government, MICE, leisure and travel trade segments.
• Maintain and grow relationships with key clients, travel agencies, event planners and business partners.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management and Marketing to optimise pricing, mix and promotional activities.
• Lead, mentor and coach the sales team, conduct regular meetings and ensure compliance with brand standards.
• Manage a portfolio of strategic accounts, negotiate rates and contracts, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Prepare sales forecasts, reports, market intelligence and support budget preparation.
• Coordinate cross‑functional activities with Operations, Reservations and Events to ensure seamless delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• 5–8 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Proven track record of generating revenue, growing market share and achieving sales targets.
• Strong analytical ability with experience in forecasting, budgeting and market analysis.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience using hotel sales applications.
