Cluster Chief Engineer – Hospitality Leadership

About the role

As a Cluster Chief Engineer you will lead the engineering teams across multiple Hilton hotels in Dubai, ensuring safe, efficient operation of all building and mechanical systems while delivering memorable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train, mentor and evaluate engineering staff to build a high‑performing team.
• Oversee maintenance of HVAC, mechanical, electrical and life‑safety systems, coordinating inspections and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Manage daily maintenance operations, prioritize work orders, and resolve guest concerns and emergencies promptly.
• Support capital projects and property rehabilitations, handling scheduling, budgeting, contractor bidding and permitting.
• Develop and drive property‑wide energy‑conservation programs to reduce utility costs.
• Monitor departmental KPIs, equipment upkeep and audit results, implementing improvements as needed.
• Collaborate with hotel leadership on safety protocols, evacuation procedures and cross‑departmental initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in international hotel chains.
• Strong leadership, guest‑focused mindset and proven commercial acumen.
• Experience in budgeting, financial management and cost‑control within an engineering context.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
