Cluster Electrician – Hotel Electrical Maintenance

About the role

The Cluster Electrician is responsible for preventive maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting and installation of electrical systems across both NH Collection Dubai The Palm and Dukes The Palm Dubai Hotel, ensuring safe and reliable operation in line with hotel standards and UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems across both hotel properties.
• Attend to electrical maintenance requests and breakdowns in guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, kitchens, offices and back‑of‑house facilities.
• Diagnose and rectify faults involving lighting, power outlets, distribution boards, switches, circuit breakers, motors and other equipment.
• Install and replace electrical fixtures, wiring, switches, sockets and related components as required.
• Support the engineering team during emergencies, power interruptions and technical incidents.
• Assist with energy‑conservation initiatives and maintain accurate maintenance records.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma, ITI or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering/Technology.
• Minimum 2–3 years experience as an electrician, preferably in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel or similar commercial environment.
• Knowledge of UAE electrical and health‑and‑safety regulations is an advantage.
• Ability to read basic electrical drawings and use testing equipment safely.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance management systems.
• Good English communication skills and ability to work independently or within a multicultural team.
• Physically fit and able to work at heights when required.
