Cluster Environmental Health and Safety Officer

About the role

Rotana Hotels is seeking a proactive Cluster Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Officer to lead and maintain the highest standards of food safety, occupational safety, and environmental compliance across its Dubai properties.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, implement and maintain EHS and food safety management systems in line with HACCP, ISO standards and local regulations.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management, recommending improvements and tracking compliance.
• Lead and participate in internal and external audits (EHS, HACCP, ISO, sustainability, OHSMS) and drive corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents, document root causes and enforce preventive measures.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update internal policies, procedures and forms accordingly.
• Conduct training sessions for all staff on EHS and food safety policies.
• Perform routine inspections, oversee supplier/contractor compliance and manage related documentation.
• Collaborate on corporate social responsibility initiatives and Rotana Earth programs.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or certification in Environmental Health, Safety, Food Safety or related field.
• Proven experience in EHS management within the hospitality sector.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and local UAE regulations.
• Excellent analytical, reporting and communication skills.
