Cluster Painter & Polisher

About the role

The Cluster Painter & Polisher ensures that all painted, polished and decorative surfaces across two hotel properties meet brand standards. You will work on guest rooms, public areas, restaurants and back‑of‑house spaces, delivering high‑quality finishes while minimizing disruption to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out painting, polishing, varnishing, staining and finishing works throughout both hotels.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling cracks and applying primers.
• Mix paints, stains and varnishes to achieve required colours and finishes.
• Perform touch‑up painting and corrective works in guest rooms, corridors and public areas.
• Polish and restore wooden furniture, doors, decorative panels and fixtures.
• Repair minor surface damage before applying finishes.
• Attend maintenance requests, complete work orders promptly and support preventive maintenance projects.
• Maintain safe storage of paints, chemicals and equipment, and use appropriate PPE.

Required profile

• Technical or vocational training in painting, decorating, carpentry finishing or a related trade (preferred).
• 2–3 years of experience as a painter/polisher, preferably in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel or similar property.
• Good knowledge of paints, varnishes, stains, primers and polishing materials.
• Ability to work at heights, lift heavy items and perform manual duties.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays across both properties.
