Cluster Plumber

About the role

Minor Hotels is hiring an experienced Cluster Plumber for a hotel in Dubai (Dukes The Palm Dubai Hotel). The plumber undertakes a wide range of plumbing tasks, from fixing leakages to installing pipes and HVAC systems, and must know the design and layout of all guest rooms and public areas.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PPM) in guest rooms and public areas
• Install and maintain heating, water supply, gas and liquid heating systems (including air-conditioning units and radiators)
• Locate and repair water supply line leaks, broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets and broken fixtures
• Repair domestic appliances such as washing machines
• Liaise with contractors and help fit bathrooms
• Report unusual findings or safety hazards immediately to the hotel's operations team
• Carry out special projects and other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Proven work experience as a plumber
• Previous experience in a large hotel with at least 500 keys in a luxury property
• Pre-opening experience is an advantage
• Ability to build good working relationships with technical and maintenance staff
