Cluster Shift Supervisor – Engineering

About the role

The Colbert Collection at Dukes The Palm Dubai Hotel is seeking a Cluster Shift Supervisor to lead engineering and maintenance operations across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily engineering and maintenance activities.
• Lead engineers, technicians and maintenance staff, ensuring preventive maintenance is completed.
• Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues, and enforce safety policies.
• Review technical drawings, plans and specifications, and ensure projects stay on time and budget.
• Prepare maintenance schedules, reports and documentation, and coordinate with contractors and suppliers.
• Manage inventory, order spare parts and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a large luxury hotel of at least 500 keys.
• Proven work experience as a Shift Supervisor.
• Ability to work in shifts, strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Effective communication and active listening.

• Mechanical and electrical systems knowledge.
