CNS Manager

About the role

The Ras Al Khaimah International Airport is seeking a CNS Manager to lead the maintenance and operational readiness of its air traffic control electronic systems. This senior position reports to the Head of Division CNS/Electronics and carries full responsibility for compliance with ICAO and GCAA standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain ATC electronic systems in operational status, ensuring compliance with ICAO and GCAA regulations.
• Manage projects related to integration, installation, commissioning and handover of CNS equipment.
• Oversee procedure updates, staff certification, training, budgeting, reporting and asset management.
• Liaise with GCAA on operational status, upgrades, and equipment grading.
• Ensure department adherence to health and safety policies, ISO/IMS documentation, and airport SMS.
• Develop and maintain service level agreements, KPIs and safety performance indicators.
• Coordinate audits, manage change documentation (MOC) and handle GCAA e‑services activities.

Required profile

• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience in aviation electronics.
• Extensive experience managing CNS or ATC systems in an airport environment.
• Strong knowledge of ICAO, GCAA and ISO/IMS standards.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage budgets.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with regulators and internal stakeholders.
