Collections Executive – Financial Services

About the role

The Collections Executive will drive the recovery of overdue receivables for Al Futtaim Finance, ensuring cash‑flow optimisation while upholding ethical collection standards. You will act as the primary point of contact for past‑due customers, balancing firm follow‑up with professional communication.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular telephone and email follow‑ups with past‑due customers to secure timely payments.
• Maintain accurate collection records in the Collection Management Log.
• Respond promptly to customer queries related to collections.
• Provide feedback on payment behaviour, history, and financial health to the team.
• Adhere strictly to collection SOPs, compliance standards, and ethical practices.
• Escalate and transfer accounts for legal action when required, following all formalities.
• Coordinate with Operations and other departments to resolve issues affecting payments.
• Negotiate repayment solutions via calls, emails, and meetings.
• Prepare and submit periodic ad‑hoc reports to the Line Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in collections or a similar financial role.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Collection Management Systems.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with data analysis tools.
