Commercial Education Manager – Middle East & Africa

About the role

The Commercial Education Manager – MEA will shape and deliver the regional commercial capability strategy, ensuring sales, marketing, distributor and commercial teams have the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to meet business objectives and deliver exceptional customer value across the Middle East and Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional commercial education and capability‑building strategy aligned with business priorities across the Middle East and Africa.
• Design, deliver and continuously improve training programmes covering consultative selling, product knowledge, territory planning, negotiation, distributor capability and leadership development.
• Partner with Marketing, Medical Affairs and Global Learning teams to prepare commercial staff for new product launches and portfolio updates.
• Establish competency frameworks, learning pathways and certification processes for sales, marketing and distributor roles.
• Measure training effectiveness through assessments, certification rates and business performance indicators, and refine programmes accordingly.

Required profile

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in sales, marketing, commercial excellence, learning & development or commercial education within healthcare, medical device or pharmaceutical industries.
• Proven track record of designing and delivering commercial capability programmes for multi‑country organisations.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, Business, Marketing, Organizational Development or related) preferred.
• Strong understanding of healthcare commercial environments, customer‑engagement models and field‑sales processes.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change in a matrixed organisation.
