About the role
Join Pullman Dubai Downtown, a cosmopolitan 5‑star hotel located in Business Bay with stunning views of the Dubai skyline and water canal. As a Commis 1 in the main kitchen, you will support daily food preparation and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in a high‑volume environment.
Key responsibilities
- Stock the assigned kitchen station with raw materials and ingredients each day.
- Operate electrical and mechanical kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Execute basic cooking methods, cut ingredients and prepare daily mise‑en‑place for your station.
- Prepare food items according to standard recipe cards, ensuring portion control and minimizing waste.
- Apply HACCP food safety and hygiene standards throughout all tasks.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary diploma preferred.
- 1‑2 years of experience in a high‑volume kitchen of a 5‑star hotel.
- Proficiency in basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Required skills
