Commis Chef - Catering

About the role

A reputed bakery and catering business in Sharjah is looking for a passionate and dedicated Commis Chef. The ideal candidate has a passion for food preparation, good kitchen discipline and the ability to support daily catering operations while keeping high standards of food quality and hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation for catering orders, events and daily production.
• Support the preparation of hot and cold dishes according to menu requirements.
• Maintain consistency in food quality, portioning and presentation.
• Ensure proper storage, stock rotation and food safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the kitchen and production areas.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure catering orders are prepared and dispatched on time.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Commis Chef in a catering company, hotel, restaurant or central kitchen.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and strong teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
