About the role
Anantara Hotels & Resorts, a global luxury hotel and resort brand rooted in Thai culture, is hiring a Commis III for its Anantara Downtown Dubai property in Dubai. The role supports the kitchen team in preparing and serving food and keeping the work area clean and safe.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and service of food and prepare mise en place for the outlets as required.
- Follow Anantara food preparation and presentation guidelines to ensure consistent quality.
- Look for opportunities to suggest improvements to the presentation guidelines.
- Keep working areas clean and tidy and maintain food safety and protection, including proper dating, storage and rotation of food.
- Take responsibility for looking after hotel property, equipment and facilities.
- Participate in departmental training and help maintain departmental checklists and cleaning schedules.
- Assist with events, banquets and other functions as required.
- Adhere to personal hygiene and grooming standards, fire safety rules and health and safety regulations.
