Construction Accountant (Arabic Speaker) – Ras Al Khaimah

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Accountant who is fluent in Arabic to manage the full accounting function for our projects in Ras Al Khaimah. The role involves handling all financial aspects of multiple construction projects, from budgeting and cost tracking to payroll and VAT compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete accounting cycle, including GL, journal entries, AP, AR, reconciliations, accruals, pre‑payments and month‑end closing.
• Oversee construction and project accounting: track costs, budgets, commitments, profitability and cash flow for villas, residential buildings and other developments.
• Handle contractor, subcontractor and supplier transactions, verify invoices, payment certificates, retention and advances.
• Administer banking activities, cash‑flow forecasting, bank reconciliations and payment instructions.
• Process monthly payroll and WPS, maintain salary records and coordinate with HR.
• Maintain VAT records, assist with return preparation and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and project‑wise analysis for senior management.

Required profile

• Arabic speaker – mandatory.
• Minimum 3 years of UAE accounting experience, with strong construction accounting background.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
