Construction Lawyer Associate - Managing Associate Level (Dubai or Doha)

About the role

Addleshaw Goddard is looking for a newly qualified lawyer to join its Middle East Construction practice as a Construction Associate at Managing Associate level, based in Dubai or Doha. The role supports the practice by delivering high-quality legal advice on contentious construction matters to clients across the region, within a team that serves major public and private sector projects.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside experienced partners and engage directly with clients on high-value, complex disputes from major construction and infrastructure projects in the Middle East
• Manage litigation and arbitration proceedings, including preparing case strategies, drafting pleadings and submissions, attending hearings and liaising with experts and witnesses
• Draft and review a wide range of legal documents
• Conduct detailed legal research on construction law issues and stay up to date with local and international construction law developments

Required profile

• Newly qualified to Managing Associate level with experience in construction law, ideally gained at a leading or mid-tier firm, with a focus on contentious matters
• Proven ability to manage multiple matters efficiently, meet deadlines and maintain high client service standards in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent drafting skills, with confidence in preparing legally effective documents tailored to client needs
