Construction Manager

About the role

The Construction Manager will oversee all phases of construction projects, from planning and initiation through execution and close‑out. The role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with quality, health, safety, security, and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed construction plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary construction teams, including subcontractors, engineers, and on‑site personnel.
• Monitor labour, material, plant, and equipment usage to maintain cost‑effectiveness and adherence to contractual requirements.
• Validate subcontractor performance, manage invoices, and ensure work aligns with agreed specifications.
• Ensure compliance with local and international construction laws, QHSSE standards, and obtain necessary permits.
• Identify project risks, support mitigation planning, and report progress, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.
• Conduct regular site visits, oversee day‑to‑day construction activities, and ensure milestones are met.
• Coordinate project close‑out, prepare final documentation, and capture lessons learned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 10 years of hands‑on experience in site construction management.
• Proven ability to lead large, multidisciplinary construction teams.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Experience with permit acquisition and regulatory compliance.
