Construction Manager – Pipeline Construction

About the role

The Highfield Company is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead pipeline construction activities on a major oil and gas development in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will oversee multidisciplinary works, ensure safety, and drive delivery to mechanical completion and commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Lead section heads, engineers and subcontractors to deliver works within programme and budget.
• Plan construction activities and allocate resources across civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation disciplines.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate with client, engineering, procurement and project management teams.
• Manage site RFIs, change orders and progress reporting, keeping accurate project records.
• Support mechanical completion, pre‑commissioning and commissioning activities.

Required profile

• A degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 20 years of total experience, including at least 7 years on oil and gas projects.
• Proven leadership on complex, multidisciplinary construction works.
• Experience delivering EPC projects for ADNOC or a comparable operator is highly desirable.
• Previous experience with a leading EPC contractor is preferred.
