Construction Project Director – Infrastructure

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Construction Project Director to lead large‑scale infrastructure programmes in Abu Dhabi, focusing on roads and utilities. You will be the primary liaison for clients, consultants, contractors and government authorities, ensuring safe, on‑time and on‑budget delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of major roads and utilities projects, overseeing health & safety, quality assurance and risk management frameworks.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams, allocate resources efficiently and monitor budgets, schedules and key performance indicators.
• Drive commercial negotiations, handle scope changes, claims and variations while ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Provide regular status reports to senior stakeholders and maintain strong relationships with all project parties.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 20 + years of experience delivering large‑scale infrastructure projects, with a proven track record in roads and utilities.
• Extensive experience managing multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams in the Middle East.
• In‑depth knowledge of Abu Dhabi authority approval processes and regulatory frameworks.
