Construction Project Manager – G+8 Residential Building

About the role

We are a Dubai‑based building contracting firm seeking a hands‑on Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of a new G+8 residential building. This site‑based position requires daily presence on‑site, proactive problem solving, and confident representation of the contractor with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership from mobilization through execution, completion, and handover.
• Study contract documents, drawings, specifications, BOQ and authority requirements.
• Identify drawing discrepancies, coordination conflicts, technical risks and constructability issues before they affect progress.
• Maintain daily site inspections of quality, progress, sequencing, manpower, materials and subcontractor performance.
• Lead execution of RCC structure, waterproofing, blockwork, plastering, finishes and related works.
• Coordinate MEP requirements to avoid clashes and rework.
• Conduct technical meetings with consultants and clients, evaluate instructions and manage RFIs, submittals, method statements and approvals.
• Develop and monitor construction programmes, look‑ahead plans, procurement schedules and recovery actions.
• Control variations, delays, material wastage, rework and other cost or schedule risks.
• Coordinate snagging, testing, authority inspections, handover and project close‑out.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Proven UAE experience with a building contractor on G+8 or higher projects.
• Strong contractor‑side execution background covering structural, architectural, finishing, waterproofing and MEP coordination.
• Ability to read and critically review construction drawings, specifications, BOQ and contractual requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership managing engineers, foremen, subcontractors, labour and suppliers.
