Consultant Critical Care Physician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Critical Care Physician to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai, providing comprehensive care for critically ill patients in the ICU.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, treat and manage critically ill patients, including multi‑organ failure, sepsis, septic shock and respiratory failure.
• Perform advanced airway management, mechanical ventilation, and invasive procedures such as endotracheal intubation, central venous catheterization and arterial line placement.
• Oversee hemodynamic monitoring, vasopressor support, and advanced cardiovascular management.
• Lead resuscitation, emergency stabilization and rapid response interventions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment, labs, imaging and continuous monitoring.
• Supervise ICU physicians, residents, nurses and collaborate with multidisciplinary specialists.

Required profile

• MBBS/MD or equivalent with recognized postgraduate qualification in Critical Care Medicine.
• Board certification or equivalent consultant qualification; fellowship in Critical Care highly desirable.
• 5‑10 years post‑specialisation experience in intensive care, including high‑acuity ICU patients.
• Eligible for DHA Consultant licence in Dubai.
• Strong clinical judgment, leadership and communication skills.
