Consultant Emergency Medicine Physician – Dubai (Tax‑Free)

About the role

A leading multispecialty hospital in Dubai is expanding its emergency and acute‑care services and seeks a qualified Consultant/Specialist Emergency Medicine Physician. The role involves delivering timely, high‑quality emergency care to a diverse international patient population within a modern, fully equipped emergency department.

Key responsibilities

• Rapid assessment, diagnosis and management of acute medical, surgical and traumatic conditions.
• Stabilisation of life‑threatening emergencies, including cardiac, respiratory, neurological and trauma cases.
• Perform emergency procedures such as airway management, intubation, resuscitation, wound care, fracture stabilisation and procedural sedation.
• Lead advanced life‑support and cardiac arrest teams and coordinate trauma response.
• Utilise point‑of‑care testing, imaging and laboratory investigations to support swift clinical decisions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient admission, referral or discharge planning.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years post‑specialist or board certification in Emergency Medicine.
• Recognised qualifications such as American Board of Emergency Medicine, UK CCT/FRCEM/MRCEM, European Board, Royal College (Canada), FACEM, Arab Board, FCPS or equivalent.
• Eligibility for DHA/DOH/MOH licensing (support provided).
