Consultant Emergency Medicine Physician – High‑Acuity Care (UAE)

About the role
A leading internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its high‑acuity emergency department, trauma and resuscitation services. The organisation seeks a Consultant Emergency Medicine Physician to join a multidisciplinary team delivering care to a diverse international patient population. Key responsibilities
- Lead assessment and stabilisation of emergency, trauma, cardiac, medical, surgical and paediatric presentations.
- Perform resuscitation, airway management, procedural sedation and critical decision‑making in the emergency department.
- Triage complex cases, supervise emergency teams and coordinate specialist referrals.
- Ensure safe patient flow, observation‑unit decisions, transfers and discharge planning.
- Participate in disaster‑preparedness, trauma protocols, simulation training and clinical governance.
- Maintain accurate emergency documentation and uphold medico‑legal and patient‑safety standards.
Required profile
- Internationally recognised emergency medicine qualification (e.g., American Board of Emergency Medicine, UK CCT/FRCEM, European Board, Royal College Canada, Australian FACEM, Arab Board MD/DNB/FCPS or equivalent).
- Eligibility for UAE licensing and facility credentialing.
- Proven experience in high‑acuity emergency, trauma and resuscitation settings.

- Advanced clinical judgement and evidence‑based practice.

- Critical decision‑making under pressure.
- Effective multidisciplinary teamwork and communication.
