Consultant Family Medicine – UAE Primary Care

About the role

A leading internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its primary and ambulatory care services. The organisation seeks a Consultant Family Medicine physician to join a multidisciplinary clinical team delivering comprehensive care to a diverse international patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Provide assessment, diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions across all age groups.
• Deliver preventive services such as health screening, immunisations, lifestyle counselling and wellness programmes.
• Manage chronic diseases (diabetes, hypertension, asthma, cardiovascular disease) using evidence‑based guidelines.
• Perform appropriate outpatient procedures and handle minor emergencies in the clinic.
• Coordinate referrals to specialist physicians and ensure continuity of care through patient education and follow‑up.
• Collaborate with nurses, allied health professionals and specialist physicians to optimise patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with medico‑legal and patient safety standards.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, continuing medical education and accreditation activities.

Required profile

• Internationally trained Consultant Family Medicine physician.
• Recognised qualification such as ABFM, UK CCT/MRCGP, CCFP, FRACGP/FACRRM, European Specialist in Family Medicine, Arab Board, MD/DNB/FCPS/MMed or equivalent.
• Full‑time availability to work in a modern, quality‑driven healthcare environment.
