Consultant Gastroenterologist – American Board/UK CCT

About the role

SearchPlus HR is recruiting a Consultant Gastroenterologist for a leading healthcare provider in the United Arab Emirates. The role offers the chance to work in a state‑of‑the‑art facility, delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic and biliary disorders.
• Perform advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide comprehensive patient consultations and follow‑up.
• Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists and dietitians to optimise patient outcomes.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives, clinical research and continuous medical education.

Required profile

• American Board Certification, UK CCT, or another recognised Western qualification in Gastroenterology.
• Minimum 3–5 years post‑board/CCT experience as a Consultant Gastroenterologist.
• Extensive experience in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy and management of complex GI disorders.
• Strong clinical decision‑making, communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
