Consultant Nephrologist – American Board/UK CCT Qualified

About the role

SearchPlus HR is recruiting a Consultant Nephrologist for a leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering expert nephrology care, diagnosing complex kidney disorders, and managing renal replacement therapies in a state‑of‑the‑art clinical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of kidney diseases, including chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, and hypertension‑related renal conditions.
• Provide specialized renal replacement therapy, such as hemodialysis and other advanced treatments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, conduct follow‑up consultations, and educate patients on kidney health.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including urologists, transplant specialists, and intensivists to optimise patient outcomes.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, research activities, and continuous medical education.

Required profile

• American Board Certification, UK CCT, or another recognised Western qualification in Nephrology.
• Minimum 3–5 years post‑board/CCT experience as a Consultant Nephrologist.
• Extensive experience managing complex renal conditions and advanced nephrology treatments.
• Strong clinical decision‑making and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
