About the role

The Consultant Neurology Physician leads the delivery of high‑quality, evidence‑based neurological care. This senior clinician is responsible for diagnosing, managing and treating patients while providing mentorship and training to junior medical staff.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise the clinical activities of junior physicians, ensuring safe and effective patient care.
• Diagnose and treat neurological conditions in accordance with best‑practice standards.
• Participate in performance management processes, including peer review and productivity assessments.
• Assist the Division Chief with scheduling, recruitment, and ensuring continuous medical coverage.
• Lead ward rounds, review investigations, adjust treatment plans, and document clinical information promptly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, attend divisional meetings, and contribute to on‑call rotation coverage.
• Communicate clinical information to patients and families with appropriate consent.

Required profile

• Medical degree with specialization in Neurology and appropriate board certification.
• Extensive experience in clinical neurology and patient management.
• Proven ability to supervise and mentor junior medical staff.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Commitment to adhering to hospital policies and quality standards.
