About the role
Our client, a leading integrated academic healthcare system in Dubai, is seeking an exceptional Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist (OBGYN) to join its multidisciplinary team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to safe, high‑quality, evidence‑based, patient‑centred women’s healthcare and to provide expert clinical care across a broad range of obstetrics and gynaecology services.
Key responsibilities
- Provide expert Consultant‑level care across Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
- Assess, diagnose and manage patients with a broad range of obstetric and gynaecological conditions.
- Provide comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care.
- Manage routine and high‑risk obstetric cases according to clinical expertise.
- Perform appropriate obstetric and gynaecological procedures within the physician’s scope of practice.
- Provide evidence‑based management of complex clinical cases.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and coordinated patient care.
- Participate in clinical governance, patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence‑based clinical guidelines, protocols and care pathways.
- Demonstrate leadership in improving clinical outcomes and patient experience.
- Support the ongoing development and advancement of Obstetrics & Gynaecology services.
Required profile
- Medical degree such as MBBS, MD or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Recognized postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
- Consultant‑level experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
- Valid specialist/consultant registration or professional licence in the country of current practice.
- Strong clinical experience in both Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex and high‑risk obstetric and gynaecological cases.
- Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient safety.
- Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated experience in postgraduate teaching, supervision or mentoring.
- Active involvement in research, publications, clinical audit or quality improvement (highly desirable).
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Eligibility for the applicable UAE/Dubai professional licensing requirements.
