Consultant Obstetrics and Gynaecology

About the role

Mubadala Health Dubai, part of M42, offers world-class treatments and advanced technology through a state-of-the-art outpatient facility providing day surgery, outpatient consultations and diagnostics for over 30 clinical specialties. It is seeking an experienced Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to deliver comprehensive, patient-centred care, covering the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management of women with obstetric and gynaecological conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level care across obstetrics and gynaecology, including outpatient, inpatient and emergency presentations
• Assess, diagnose and manage conditions according to recognised clinical standards and evidence-based practice
• Provide antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care, including higher-risk pregnancies within clinical privileges
• Perform obstetric and gynaecological procedures and surgical interventions within training, experience and granted privileges
• Manage acute presentations and take part in the escalation and management of complex cases
• Counsel patients on diagnosis, treatment options, procedures, expected outcomes and care plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, patient safety, audits and departmental initiatives
• Support the education and supervision of junior physicians and colleagues, and keep up to date with advances in the field

Required profile

• Medical degree from a recognised institution
• Recognised specialist qualification in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (e.g. CCT/CCST, American Board, Canadian Board or equivalent)
• Eligible for Consultant-level professional licensing with the relevant Dubai healthcare regulator
• Substantial post-specialist clinical experience appropriate to Consultant level
• Demonstrated experience managing a broad range of obstetric and gynaecological conditions
• Strong clinical judgement, patient safety commitment and excellent communication and collaboration skills
