Consultant Obstetrics & Gynecology – American Board/UK CCT qualified

About the role

SearchPlus HR is recruiting a Consultant Obstetrics & Gynecology for a leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services, including high‑risk pregnancy management and advanced surgical procedures, in a state‑of‑the‑art women’s health facility.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full‑cycle obstetric care – antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal – for routine and high‑risk pregnancies.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of gynecological conditions and perform advanced surgeries, including minimally invasive and laparoscopic procedures.
• Conduct health screenings, family planning, infertility assessments and preventive women’s health services.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, anesthesiologists, radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to optimise maternal and fetal outcomes.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives and continuous medical education while maintaining accurate documentation.

Required profile

• American Board Certification, UK CCT, or another recognised Western qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Minimum 3–5 years post‑board/CCT experience as a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist.
• Extensive experience in high‑risk pregnancy management and advanced gynecological surgery.
• Strong clinical decision‑making, leadership and communication abilities.
