Consultant Otolaryngologist (Western Qualification) – Abu Dhabi

About the role

A leading private hospital in the UAE seeks an experienced Consultant Otolaryngologist to deliver comprehensive medical and surgical care for adult and paediatric ENT patients. The role involves managing complex cases, performing advanced procedures, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of ENT conditions, including ear, nose, throat, head and neck disorders.
• Perform elective and emergency ENT surgeries and endoscopic, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
• Manage chronic sinus disease, hearing disorders, otitis, airway and voice disorders, and head‑and‑neck masses.
• Provide pre‑operative, operative and post‑operative patient care.
• Collaborate closely with Audiology, Radiology, Oncology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Paediatrics and other specialists.
• Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to clinical governance, infection‑control and patient‑safety standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality‑improvement projects, teaching and continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Medical degree with a recognised postgraduate qualification in Otolaryngology/ENT (UK CCT/CCST, American Board, German Facharzt or equivalent European qualification).
• Consultant‑level clinical and surgical experience in ENT, preferably in a tertiary, multispecialty or leading private hospital.
• Sub‑specialty expertise (e.g., Rhinology, Otology/Neurotology, Head & Neck Surgery, Paediatric ENT, Laryngology) is an advantage.
• Strong clinical judgment, surgical decision‑making and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
