Consultant Pediatric Interventional Radiologist (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Consultant Pediatric Interventional Radiologist to join a leading healthcare organization in Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering image‑guided diagnostic and minimally invasive therapeutic procedures for neonates, children and adolescents, working within a multidisciplinary pediatric team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and interpret pediatric diagnostic and interventional imaging studies.
• Deliver image‑guided minimally invasive procedures using ultrasound, fluoroscopy, CT and other modalities.
• Manage vascular and non‑vascular interventions, including biopsies, drainage, and vascular access.
• Participate in the treatment of vascular malformations and complex pediatric tumors.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑procedure assessment, documentation and follow‑up.
• Collaborate closely with pediatric surgeons, neonatologists, oncologists, anesthetists and intensivists.
• Ensure radiation protection, dose optimisation and adherence to pediatric imaging protocols.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings, clinical governance, teaching and research.

Required profile

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree with specialist qualification in Radiology.
• Fellowship or advanced training in Pediatric Interventional Radiology (highly desirable).
• Valid DOH (Abu Dhabi) licence or eligibility to obtain one.
• Significant experience in pediatric radiology and interventional procedures.
• Proven ability to manage complex cases in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Excellent communication and clinical decision‑making skills.
