About the role
A multidisciplinary pediatric rehabilitation setting in Dubai is seeking a Consultant to assess and manage children with physical, developmental, neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. The role focuses on improving function, mobility, independence and quality of life through rehabilitation care.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage pediatric rehabilitation cases such as cerebral palsy, developmental delay and neuromuscular disorders
- Develop individualized rehabilitation plans and treatment goals
- Lead and coordinate physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy teams
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Educate families on home-based rehabilitation programs
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow UAE healthcare standards
Required profile
- Consultant qualification in Pediatric Rehabilitation, PM&R, Pediatrics, Neurology or Orthopedics with rehabilitation experience
- At least 5 years of relevant clinical experience
- Eligible for DHA/DOH medical licensing
- Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage
