Consultant Pediatric Surgeon – American Board/UK CCT

About the role

SearchPlus HR is seeking a highly qualified Consultant Pediatric Surgeon to join a leading healthcare institution in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide expert surgical care to infants, children, and adolescents, working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pre‑operative assessments and develop individualized surgical plans.
• Perform a wide range of pediatric surgical procedures, including elective, emergency, and minimally invasive surgeries.
• Provide full peri‑operative care, from pre‑op preparation through post‑op monitoring and complication management.
• Diagnose and manage congenital anomalies, gastrointestinal conditions, tumors, trauma and other surgical cases.
• Respond promptly to pediatric surgical emergencies.
• Collaborate closely with pediatricians, neonatologists, anesthesiologists and nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to patient safety standards.

Required profile

• American Board, UK CCT, or equivalent Western postgraduate qualification in Pediatric Surgery.
• Minimum 5 years of post‑specialisation experience in pediatric surgery.
• Proven track record managing complex congenital and emergency cases.
• Strong clinical decision‑making and patient‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
