Consultant Psychiatrist – Full‑Time in Dubai

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The role involves delivering comprehensive psychiatric care, managing complex mental health conditions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat a wide spectrum of psychiatric and mental health disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy where qualified.
• Manage complex cases and provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, risk assessments and follow‑up consultations.
• Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, social workers and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide counselling and education to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols.
• Contribute to clinical education, quality improvement and evidence‑based practice.

Required profile

• Medical degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Psychiatry.
• Valid DHA eligibility or license, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Relevant post‑specialisation clinical experience at Consultant level.
• Strong knowledge of current psychiatric assessment and treatment protocols.
