Consultant Psychiatrist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The role involves delivering comprehensive, patient‑centered psychiatric care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and clinical evaluations.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide medication management.
• Provide crisis intervention, emergency psychiatric care, and psychotherapy as appropriate.
• Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records and participate in multidisciplinary meetings.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MD/DNB/MRCPsych or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Psychiatry.
• Significant post‑specialization experience at Consultant level.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient‑management skills.
