Consultant Radiation Oncologist – UAE (Tax-Free Salary)

About the role

A leading internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its advanced radiotherapy services. The Consultant Radiation Oncologist will join a multidisciplinary team delivering state‑of‑the‑art cancer care to a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Assess oncology patients and determine radiotherapy indications within multidisciplinary care plans.
• Develop treatment plans using IMRT, VMAT, IGRT, SBRT or brachytherapy and coordinate simulation, contouring, dose prescription, plan review and on‑treatment assessments.
• Manage radiation side‑effects, provide supportive care, and conduct survivorship follow‑up.
• Participate in tumour boards with medical oncology, surgery, radiology, pathology and palliative care.
• Maintain radiation safety, documentation, consent and quality‑assurance standards.

Required profile

• Internationally recognised specialist qualification in Radiation Oncology (e.g., ABR, UK CCT/FRCR, Canadian Royal College, FRANZCR, Arab Board, etc.).
• Strong clinical judgement, evidence‑based practice and commitment to patient safety.
• Excellent communication skills for culturally diverse patients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to adapt to UAE licensing, documentation standards and hospital governance.
