Consultant / Specialist Critical Care Medicine Physician – ICU Leadership

About the role

A leading tertiary‑care hospital in Dubai is expanding its ICU services and seeks a Consultant / Specialist Critical Care Medicine Physician to provide high‑acuity, life‑saving care in a state‑of‑the‑art intensive care environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, stabilize and manage critically ill patients with sepsis, respiratory failure, multi‑organ dysfunction and severe infections.
• Lead mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic support and continuous monitoring for ICU patients.
• Perform and supervise advanced life‑support procedures such as intubation, central line and arterial line insertion, and resuscitation.
• Coordinate care for post‑operative and trauma patients and participate in rapid‑response and code‑blue teams.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, emergency physicians and other specialists, and ensure compliance with ICU quality and infection‑control standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of post‑specialty experience in critical care medicine.
• Board‑recognized qualification in Critical Care (e.g., American Board, UK CCT, Arab Board, DM/MD, etc.).
• Full‑time availability for ICU‑based care and multidisciplinary collaboration.
