Consultant Specialist – Emergency Medicine (UK CCT)

About the role

SearchPlus HR is seeking a Consultant Specialist in Emergency Medicine (UK CCT) to join its team in Ras Al Khaimah. The successful candidate will deliver rapid, high‑quality care to patients presenting with acute medical emergencies, working alongside a multidisciplinary team in a fast‑paced hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients with urgent medical conditions and traumatic injuries.
• Conduct thorough examinations and order appropriate diagnostic investigations.
• Formulate and implement timely treatment plans, including life‑saving interventions.
• Perform essential emergency procedures such as airway management, cardiac resuscitation, and trauma stabilization.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, and follow‑up care.
• Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of all patient encounters.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, paramedics and other specialists to ensure coordinated care.

Required profile

• Board certification in Emergency Medicine.
• Completion of an accredited emergency medicine residency program.
• Proven experience working in an emergency department or similar acute care setting.
• Strong critical‑thinking, decision‑making and communication abilities.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a high‑volume environment.
