Consultant Spine Surgeon

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Spine Surgeon to join a leading hospital in Dubai. The role involves delivering comprehensive spine care, performing complex surgical procedures, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage a wide range of spinal conditions, including degenerative disorders, deformities, disc herniation, stenosis and trauma.
• Perform appropriate spinal surgical procedures in line with specialist training and standards of care.
• Provide pre‑operative assessments, post‑operative management and long‑term follow‑up.
• Coordinate non‑surgical treatment options such as rehabilitation and pain management.
• Interpret diagnostic investigations including X‑rays, CT scans and MRI studies.
• Collaborate with neurosurgeons, orthopaedic surgeons, radiologists, physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals.

Required profile

• Recognised postgraduate specialist qualification in Orthopaedic Surgery or Neurosurgery with spine surgery expertise.
• Substantial experience performing spinal procedures and managing complex spinal cases.
• Eligibility for professional registration with SCFHS at Consultant level.
• Strong clinical judgment, surgical decision‑making and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
